OK cool. I was at the last one....that's why I'm keen for the next one! Cheers.

When is there another Box Hill meet? Is it monthly making it this coming Saturday?

Have a chat with Bogg Brothers. They'll also do a manifold and jet set up for you. A search in this forum will throw up a few posts on it too.

Too many overpaid busybodies with too much time on their hands and too much public money to waste! Signed! -
You may have got beat by 50p but that person could've bid £1000 more than you and you'd never know as the system only ups the bid amount as necessary. I've often bid £xx more than I won something for beating someone by a £1 or what ever. As for stuff selling too cheap. Make your start price your minimum or put a reserve on it!

Shame about your diff but a great day. Hope everyone got back south without overheating. We were on bikes so weren't effected too much but the traffic was mad.
-
Looks good. Who did it? Where are they? Looks like Chichester coastline??
-
We'll be there but popping up on the bikes to beat the traffic. Just need to come and drool over some cool OSF's!
-
Yeah I like this on other sites I use.
-
That will most probably be to do with your laptop settings. Is it a different screen resolution to your works pc? Same browser? That's what I'm thinking but all other sites I use open as normal on both PC and laptop except OSF.

OK, serious reply from a 'noob' who uses other sites for other vehicles in my collection. The site I frequent the most and have well over 3000 posts is www.coloradok5.com . Things I don't like about this site that I'm used to on that site are: When you put your cursor on a post title on here, it shows you the latest reply, where as on my other site it show you the original question/post. Surely that's better so you can see if the original post is something you're interested in or are qualified to answer (tech). On this site, even though I ticked the box, I never get emails to tell me if a post I made/replied to has had further replies. For some bizarre reason, on my work PC the home page is all in order, but on my laptop at home, the home page is all screwy with stuff overlapping etc which doesn't happen with CK5, my other main site. Apart from that , speaking as a 'noob'!....great site that has really spurred me on to get this project done (the last few have been yanks) and Boxhill last Saturday made me want it done even more!!

I've got 2 big V8s and when I change the oil at around 2500 - 3000 miles it's always pretty clear and just a bit darker (slightly) than when it went in. If you're blackening oil much sooner you may want to look into why or if you use the engine hard, consider a cooler (or better oil!)

[quote="Kieran My wifes! She was well pleased to see it on here! [ The bodywork on this was outstanding!! Excellent pics!

I've never met him before Saturday but had a good talk with him about his products (which are excellent!). Nice guy and knows his stuff. I'll definatly be throwing a few quid his way this year!

My first time there. Awesome turn out. Some really cool cars, some really stunning work. I was also amazed at how young some of you guys are! We thought it was really cool it's not just old gits like us into the early stuff!! Sooo........when's the next one?
-
All the best. I've known a few people who have recovered from horrific bike crashes. It's amazing what a body can take and what the medical teams can do. Hang in there.
-
Scam. Walk away. You'll be offered 2 of his wives and a camal next!
-
Thanks, we'll be along. looks like we can get there earlier now too. Weather sounds promising!
-
What time does this normally go on 'til? Don't think I can get there until lunchtime. Will I find an empty carpark?
-
I was thinking that, though this is a different car altogether but she'll notice it I'm sure. It needs a new m/cyl anyway so I'll get one to siut. Any suggestions on m/cyl? Willwood 4 pots up front and a rear disc conversion probebly using the Sierra type calipers (not bought it yet). Also any suggestions where to get a remote servo? Thanks.
-
At the risk of getting stuff thrown at me......... I've looked at a ton of pictures and read many posts via the search but still need telling! So many cars, even with Cossie power and larger rims don't 'appear' to be running brake servos. Is this correct? Or are some of you using some kind of easy to hide remote unit? If you're running without, is a 4 wheel disc set up going to need any more power than a 4 drum setup? Reason I ask is that the car I'm building now will be for my wife to drive mostly (mostly ). At the moment she copes fine with her 1300 on drums but (thankfully) she doesn't have legs like Arnie! So will 4 disc without servo require her to start on the steroids?? Ok, you can throw stuff now!
