I enjoyed it, but can't help thinking the writers have fallen into a rut with the formula, and it's become samey already. The thing about recreating an era on TV or film is that you have such a short amount of time to create the look, the result is a bit unnatural. They do seem to have learnt a bit though with the mistakes on LOM with the vehicles all being 'new'. Oh, and bitterly disappointed the star car wasn't an OSF

Back to rats. We have 2 lurchers and 2 Jack Russells. I see the rats come from next door (too dangerous to live here) after the bird food I put out (even go up the trees too) as soon as they leave the house! They also move into the compost bin when the terriers go on their travels. I am loath to put poison down for the rats, in case the dogs get hold of it or the rats that have eaten it. The terriers do their best, but when they were away the other week there was 3 of em out there!! Is trapping the rats the way to go?

Good question, if I had both of em here I would tell you. Both cars are elsewhere as we had to put one of the Mk1 transits on the yard. I would be interested to find out.

Our Mk2 transit lutons will about see 60 full, but they are the same unladen weight as the LWB Mk2, which I have seen off the clock when in a rush. The trouble with governing is it doesn't allow for overtaking and getting out of trouble by accelerating, so if you pull out and get behind another governed van or truck you might as well just pull back in again, even if you are not breaking the speed limit. How much would that cost do you think?
