Your right,you dont know the full story but thats not your fault so dont take that as a dig.
There are alot of underlyng circumstances as to why i was parked in such a position and i proved beyond reasonable doubt that the offence was not intentional hence leniency from the court.
I was never stopped on the crossing itself and as proved in court, was not impeading the vision of the crossing to other drivers.
My company were to blame for the inaccurate training given but it was classed as an absolute offence and punishment must be imposed.
Im not a bad driver and dont park in these places in my own car,i was just operating a vehicle which at the time i had been trained as exempt from certain parking restrictions.
