Yesterday we visited Bremen Classic Motorshow, and here is a couple of pictures. I'm sorry the quality is'nt the best - to many people. . . First 3 pics. are of course for Retroglam. Perhaps his Capri has a twin sister in Germany This Transit was'nt on the show. It was parked outside a car-dealer but had no pricetag Escort and Capri on show EGLI motorbike Mercedes and 2CV - both used as hen-houses. I know it is'nt a Ford, but I've always fancied one of these little Alfas Cute little Honda Autojumble BMW M1 Kremer Porsche This Mercedes was pulled out of a lake after 30 years on the bottom. Looked like a tea bag everywhere.

Is this a real genuine mk2 Mexico spoiler, as the title says ? How can it be featured in a 1970 RS catalog if it`s for a mk2, which was released in 1975. The reason I ask is because I bought one exactly like this one on ebay, same Ford RS no. 9055561. My opinion : Basicly it's your car and you can do whatever you like. Because it's a very rare car I myself would treat it with a lot of respect, meaning everything that's "bolt-on" is no problem, but I would never arch it - 4 link it, or in other ways modify something that can't be made back to original again. May sound a little old-fashioned, but that my opinion

Hi Antz. Perhaps you could get a helper to turn the wire speed slowly up/down while you weld. If it's to quiet - it's got to little wire and if it wants to push the handle upwards - it's got way to much wire.

Hi Retroglam73. In my opinon the best way is to change the oil and filter while the engine still is in the car, and run it a couple of minutes, then a little oil down the plugholes. If it is already on the floor I would still change the oil and leave the fresh oil in the sump, and a little down the plugholes, and turn it a couple of rounds. Old oil contains acid from condensation etc. and that can be a little harsh on bearingshells. Hope this makes any sense ....

Anyone know the part no. on Escort mk2 Mexico frontspoiler ( original Ford ) I may have found one, but not sure, as I actually never seen an original one

I'm not a worldchampion, but I can give a little advice. I never cut/remove anything from the car, before I have the new panel adjusted to fit. In that way you never cut a bigger hole than the new part actually can cover. It's easyest to weld the pieces together if they overlap eachother a little ex 2 mm. It has to be bare metal, and cut out so much that the metal are fresh, as it's impossible to weld in rust. Good luck

When doing body repairs it's sometimes necessary to use some sort of sealing product. Someone told me to use KENT Proseal 202. Which product do you recommend ? Or does any of you know this KENT Proseal 202 ? Thanks

Hi retroglam73 I would wait a couple of weeks, before removing the centerbox. Have tried a couple of times that a brand new backbox are'nt that loud, but after a couple of weeks and perhaps a motorway trip, it gets louder.

Some years ago, by a mere coincidence, my brother and I turned on the TV and they showed a british movie. It was about a guy called bimbo who got the idea, that he could earn money by selling burgers from an old transit. The transit did'nt have an engine and they towed it after a jelly mould. We laughed so much, and has often talked about seeing it again, and this time right from the start. Perhaps it was was called - The van - but we are not sure. Does someone recognize this description and perhaps know more about this movie

I would forget the old Ford 1.8 TD. In my opinion it's the worst engine ever made. Had one in a P100 and it was absolutely hopeless. Actually it's not a Ford but an old Perkins construction for stationary use as in a coolingmachine or generator. My opinion...

Hi I have a problem converting this Danish thread size to something that can be used when ordering fittings in UK - ex. from Demon Tweeks. In Denmark the thread is called (1/2" RG) or (whitworth pipethread 55) It has an outside diameter of 20.955 mm - 14 threads pr inch and threadangle is 55 degress. Anyone know the English name for this particular thread ?
