  1. Hi - Mine is 96 cm of the ground. On the car, the turn point is between the 2 rectangular air holes in the front plate and lower edge of the grille. At the back it's around the lower edge of the numberplate. My garage is 2.10 m and the car rotates all the way with no problems and has a good balance
  2. Did a little cleaning up in the attic today and found this little fire extinguisher. It's an original unused Ford item, and I nearly threw it away, but noticed the date - 10th month 1977 which means it possibly could have been in the car from new Don't think it's in working condition anymore - after 30 years
  3. Hi I'm considering using a Pinto EFI for my Escort mk2, does anyone have pictures of an enginebay with that conversion ? How many BHP is it possible to get from these engines still using the Injection system ? Thanks
  4. Thanks, nice pics !!! It's very easy to see that they are supposed to have 2 visible lines from the rearlights and further down
  5. Hi guys. Does someone have pictures of the backpanel - below the rear bumper, on an Escort MK2 ? I need to see how it original looked, where the rearpanel is welded to the rear 1/4 panel. Are there a visibel seam like between the front and frontwing ? Thanks
  6. That Transit reminds me of a movie I saw some years ago. Think it was called " The Van" they sold burgers out the sidewindow at footballmatches etc. it had no engine so they pulled it after a jelly mould
  7. A greeting from Denmark - written in the dust of an old Escort....
  8. Hi boxxer That must have been an interesting day off Was our car strapped to the rolling road in the exactly same way ? Ex. pulled back and down on the rollers or just pulled down. This can also change the readings very much. What I meen is, same operator on different RR ort to give almost indentical readings.
  9. Nice pics. Gives you a little extra energy to weld some more
  10. My first Ford was a 1975 Taunus 1600L 2dr (Cortina mk3 in UK I think, looked like a Cortina but had square headlights) Bought it from an old man who owned from new. Paid 25£ and welded for half a year. Had so much fun driving that car and regret selling it. Tryed to buy it back a couple of years later but it was´nt possible
  11. Mine is a 2 door mk2 escort, and that´s what I prefer. I think they in some way look shorter and seen from the side, it can be devided in 3 sections of almost equal length - front wing - door - rear 1/4 panel. But I must admit the 4 doors look really good when lowered and 7" wheels and I would never talk negative about them. Just my opinion
  12. Hey It´s a very nice color for OSFs. MEXY867M what´s the frontspoiler on your car called ? and where can I buy one
  13. Damm no LSD. Did´nt expect it, but it sure would have been a nice surprise.
  14. Think it´s without LSD but I will open it today. The brakedrums turns in oppesit direction. Bought it in Germany
  15. Hello! I just bought a rearaxle from a Capri 3. It`s an atlas axle and on the little typeplate, it says 3.09 and a long number that is difficult to read but looks like 4588400SCA the first 3 digits are very hard to see. It has single layer leaf springs and pretty thick shockabsorbers (50mm) the brakedrums messures 228 mm inside dia and 65 mm inside deept where the brakeshoes touch. Does someone know from which Capri the axle belongs ? Should be a 2.8 I but how do I identify it ?
  16. Hello. Does anyone have some pictures and perhaps messures of a rooll over jig to fit an Escort mk2,
  17. Thanks. I hope I will soon be able to post some pictures of my project. Actually I met some of you OSF guys at Ford Fair this sommer. Nice cars and freindly people
  18. Hello OSF I recently joined your site. I use some of my sparetime/weekends building an Escort mk2, running a 2L Pinto
