Your parents sound exactly like mine What is it with old people and fridges? There are only two of them but they have three fridges and a large freezer,which they keep stocked up and the food goes out of date before they can eat it Once my Mum cleared the chest freezer out of 'out of date food' some of which was five years old she found what she thought was a single pie in a plastic bag so she threw it out. Later my Dad remembered that he had hidden some money in the freezer which he had made into a roll and put in a bag He had empty all the defrosted food out the bin to find it The Sunday ritual is a trip to the local dump to get rid of not a lot and return with far more. The garden is full of sheds four in total not including the double garage that are full of 'things that will come in handy' and now all of his customers [hes still a mechanic] know he likes to keep things they bring round their sh** too
