  1. Hi Guys nice little topic on the Bedford cruise, If I could just add a couple of points, the cruise has now been running for a number of years and is enjoyed by a number of locals and folk how come from quite a distance sometimes, the cruise is not just for Classics it is an Americian modified and hot rod event aswell even some VW,s but stricly no plastic fantastics, and one last thing there are a lot of neibours that we have kept happy over the years so no burn outs please. cheers Slappy.

As promised 5hane here are some Corsair estate pics, launched at the1966 Gineva motor show, Ford sent 920 Corsair 4 doors to Abbot Farnem coach works, they then grafted the mk1 Cortina estate roof rear windows and a few other odd and ends, the first cars where 2000 GT's then they became 2000 Deluxe, it is believed that only 16 still remain and four are on the road My estate on road by mid next year fingers crossed.

  18. if you are still using the pre cross you will need elec fuel pump fuel regulator pipe from boot inlets for pre cross allen key bolts for manifolds ( you can't get bolts in ) modified throttle pedal to fit cable, but it does sound the nads not to put you off.
  19. don't do it if that is your yellow one in the picture you will allways regret it mk1 is a far nicer looking car.
  20. Hello chud stick with the gt carb unless you have lots of spare time, I have just ended up taking my built engine out as it ran so bad on the 40's without a rolling road setup forget it if they are not quite wright lots of grief, leave it until you have lots of time.
  21. nice one the more you do on your cars the more you learn, mine spend more time off the road then on.
  22. I thought I would put this on, my son was looking at my old videos and thought it would be good to put it on you tube.
  23. forget your hot hatches nothing quite like the sound of an old ford on full chat, love it mate, next time need a shot out the front screen as it's snaking down the road.
  24. thanks Toby for the advice the balance between the carbs is fine it's just the linkages, just been out in it again, few different road types and it has got a real flat spot but, once you get out on a bit of dual carriage way she gets on song and at 4000 rpm its doing 70, will need to look at ratios when it goes in the other car but thats some way off,
