Out of interest I looked for a definition of 'Old Skool' and found the following: Anything that is from an earlier era and looked upon with high regard or respect Clearly 80's Fords are from an earlier era, they're more than a generation back. But, looked upon with 'high regard'? It seems that, with a few exceptions for some MK3 Escorts and Mk2 Fiestas, there is not much regard for plastic Fords of the 80's and later, they're just a mode of transport.

Take out the two idle jets and give them a blow through. See if that helps as it sounds like there could be a bit of crud in there somewhere.

Have to agree with that. Anyone driving Anglias now, especially if it has 200 bhp, is not driving an Anglia as originally built so the death trap bit is a massive, unfair, over generalisation.
