I had an air rifle as a teenager, I once shot a rabbit with it. It didn't kill it outright but it clearly wasn't going to recover. I looked at this maimed animal on the ground in front of me and thought "WTF am I supposed to do with it now?" and "in any case, what did I do that for?" rifle was flogged the next day. If you're planning to kill and eat rabbits or have some problem with vermin that you need to keep under control then fair do's but I just shot it because it was there..............and instantly regretted it. Good man. Just because people eat it doesnt mask the fact that they dont NEED to kill it for food. Its all about the enjoyment of the kill. (i just dont get it) Whats wrong with going to the butchers or Tesco's? Cue, debate ........ lol ya cant shoot the butcher
