This meet goes ahead every month , rain sleet or snow i hav'nt missed one for well ....ages ......during the winter months we all still meet up and have a meal etc in the pub so even if the cars aint there the silly chatter is im sure Paul will be along to give an update ......

Ive done quite a few mostly on yank motors there really straight forward , what car/vehicle do you want to convert and is it steering box or a rack , and then theres the dash some are set up so can be either left or right especially the early 20's 30's yanks , im sure its a job you could do yourself Millsie as your handy with a spanner

Over the years ive spent a few quid at Burtons and never had any discount , my lad has spent thousands on Cosworth parts in the last few years (he's rebuilt 4 engines, not all at the same time ) last time we went i think he spent a couple of grand but never received any discount , i even asked for a couple of the small stickers and you would have thought they were giving us the the world .........so good luck

Chris ive had my fair share of the mag pics ,had 4 pics in one mag this month totally out of the blue and my lad was in a VW mag this month so im not bothered just seems the Ford based mags being discussed here are too ''samey'' ( if thats a word ) content/pic wise.....and yea ill defo catch you at some point this year mate ....... :-D

I personally find that the same cars seem to appear on event/show coverage and there is always other cars there that make the event/show but very few get even the smallest pic,which makes any mag stale and boring unless its your car in the pics the mags mentioned are probably the worst for this , and unless a car is shiney shiney and had a serious amount spent on it it will only get a feature in my opinion , well thats what they seemed like a few years ago last time i brought them , now i have a quick look in the newsagaents and still seem similar .....Just my thoughts

I couldnt see why not , it would be just as easy to make up a new exhaust get yourself a silencer and a new length of pipe and away you go .....if you have access to a welder would make it pretty simple ....

He's had plenty of messers and test pilots and the yea ill have it but i have to sell my bla bla bla first basically dreamers even had the ''expert'' that didnt even know what a cosworth engine was and then argued that they never came with a turbo so i think he has had enough , he has a mint MK2 Tina shell that he's keen to put the bits into as you say its a shame ........

Been informed by the owner that he is going to take out the ENGINE , BOX , DIFF and some odds n ends and will be selling as a ROLLING SHELL with rack n pinion steering etc etc so if your interested in just the rolling shell give Dave a call .........the van is still complete at the moment but not for much longer ..
