I drive an old shit heap Mini ( really into Minis got about half a dozen of em) and people are always telling me I should spray it. I always reply "Why,so I have to worry about you banging your car door into it" I also get "You should throw all that junk away and buy a modern car" I used to swear bucketloads at that but now I just turn and walk as far away as possible. SOme people will never understand.

Hiya lads, I'm Tom,I live in Malta and a couple of months ago I bought this. Obviously not like that.Otherwise I'd have had to Ebay my arms and legs to pay for it. It's missing the wheels,engine,box and spool,gauges and seat mount and a couple other small things. Already started collecting bits for it.Got a 2l Pinto block bored to 92 ( I think) and wire rung with a stroked crank and bushed 1.6Diesel rods to give 2.1l together with a notched sump. Picked up a free standard head and traded some work for a pair of really cool Cragar-like Cheviot rims for the back. Also bought a set of Pepperpots,2 of which will probably end up on the front. Plan is to build up a mild budget engine and fab up a trailer to get me on the strip ASAP. Someday I'll go all out. Tell me what ya think. Tom
