  1. surely she can afford one thats already done up. Good birthday present though.
  2. if that was aimed at me then you're a bit consused. It was actually a compliment about someone taking the time to do a lot of work on a four door, which from what I can see is rare on here. Not just here but on other forums too. There are a few examples of course so there is no need for anyone to post them up to try and prove me wrong, but usually it's 2 doors which have the most money and time spent on them. That is just the way I see it. It wasn't an arsey comment pointed at anyone.
  3. I thought people on here only spend money and time on 2 door cars.
  4. as he's single I can't see the problem. She should have played harder to get if she wanted something different. Knickers off on a second date? What was she expecting. I'm just bitter and jealous as i'm married. If it was me i'd have kept seeing her while i'd be getting some action with little effort or money being spent. PM me her photo and phone number and i'll see if she needs comforting in her hour of need.
  5. blue, as it matches the railings.
  6. is it just when cold?. If I remember correctly it does it to heat up the catalytic convertor quicker on start up, but then dies down after about 10 seconds or so, sometimes longer if it's colder.

Did it brake? I got up this morning and my Sky+ box is up the swanny, and sky want £65 to come and fix it.
  8. what happened to this mk2 2 door project car.
  9. going through the latest edition in great detail as I do I saw the page on Racin' Jason's mk2 Cortina. page30. I thought these cars are still being worked on each month, but this one has already been for sale for over a month. Are all the other cars already finished and for sale too? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mk-2-Cortina-Rat ... 8001r12815
  10. is the last one British Racing Green? I might be doing mine that colour.
  11. i'm nearby, but don't have a clue what to advise. I can take my rocker cover round for you to try if you like, but it's just a standard 1.6 cover.
  12. Love the wheels. Love the car. What is it? Did I see it at Classic Ford this year next to the Life on Mars Cortina?
  13. S.apphire is another one without the dot. That comes out as sapphire. mk3 E.scort without the dot is mk3 escort
  14. I used to have a set I did in Halfords own brand white wheel paint. Just used white primer under them and they lasted ages. I did another set later in normal white spray gloss and they cracked within a couple of months so i'd steer clear of that if I do it again.
  15. maybe you are dead, but like the fella in Sixth Sence who doesn't know it. Sorry to anyone who hasn't seen it yet as I may have just spoiled it for you.
  16. if this is the official list to reserve them, then i'll have 1 please.
  17. it's my shed and i'm proud of it.
  18. that's my car.
  19. now editied to use words you can understand. I'll write to the Eagles to ask them to change their song to "Life in the 3rd lane"
  20. my cambelt broke on a car once when I was in the 3rd lane of a motor way and even though the engine stopped and all the dashboard lights came on I was still able to coast over to the hard shoulder. Maybe just lucky I guess.
  21. He had them up for £45, I offered £25, he replied with £40. I think i'll call him tomorrow and have them.
  22. that's not too bad. He wants £40 for 5, so I might go for them.
  23. There is a fella near me selling a set of Wolfrace slot mags which I like the look of, but as they need complete refurb + tyres + spigot rings I don't want to pay too much for them incase they are buckled or warped. I've been caught out before that way. What price would I be looking at getting back for scrap if it turns out that is what they are?
  24. when I was looking for insurance last week for the Cortina I refused to use that site because of them adverts. They put me right off.
  25. Is the sebring red a solid colour or metallic. As i'll be doing it myself i'd like a solid colour.
