if that was aimed at me then you're a bit consused. It was actually a compliment about someone taking the time to do a lot of work on a four door, which from what I can see is rare on here. Not just here but on other forums too. There are a few examples of course so there is no need for anyone to post them up to try and prove me wrong, but usually it's 2 doors which have the most money and time spent on them. That is just the way I see it. It wasn't an arsey comment pointed at anyone.

is it just when cold?. If I remember correctly it does it to heat up the catalytic convertor quicker on start up, but then dies down after about 10 seconds or so, sometimes longer if it's colder.

I used to have a set I did in Halfords own brand white wheel paint. Just used white primer under them and they lasted ages. I did another set later in normal white spray gloss and they cracked within a couple of months so i'd steer clear of that if I do it again.

my cambelt broke on a car once when I was in the 3rd lane of a motor way and even though the engine stopped and all the dashboard lights came on I was still able to coast over to the hard shoulder. Maybe just lucky I guess.

There is a fella near me selling a set of Wolfrace slot mags which I like the look of, but as they need complete refurb + tyres + spigot rings I don't want to pay too much for them incase they are buckled or warped. I've been caught out before that way. What price would I be looking at getting back for scrap if it turns out that is what they are?
