    Had the mk1 out on Saturday in the rain and had great fun !!!! However winter is boring at times I admit. I keep busy by doing all the jobs I can't be bothered to do in summer . Don't sell you will regret it!!

    READ. This does not come across as banter . You labelled owners of OSF who don' t use their cars in winter as plonkers and also " ranted" that they get on your tits. That's not banter. You overstepped the mark and are now back peddling at a great rate and trying to make light of it. That's MY opinion.

    Over the top restos ???? So because I have taken the time and money to do a PROPER resto I am over the top and its a problem??? I do apologise for having the passion and dedication for my cars and I must learn to leave them looking like sh*t underneath just so I can join the HERO WINTER DRIVING CLUB.

    It's the OWNERS choice. Just because some CHOOSE not to use them when the weather isn't great it doesn't make them any less of a ford lover. I can use mine in winter if I choose to but it doesn't make me a f****ing hero .

    Yep 4 of us going up with 2 cars. It's the OSFDC this weekend so should be lots of ford action!!!!

    I would like it to be a full 1/4 as it would be nice to go there and practice gear shifting.

    Park it up, take the keys out. Go back in spring, start it up, check tyre pressures then drive it. It's a ford not a museum piece. Ford built these cars to drive.........

    Top trip!!! People seem to forget that Ford build vehicles to be used and not to sit in garages. I use my mk1 escort alot and even she had a run to Le Mans this year and that's on a 2.1 pinto on twin 48's !!!
