Looking through the wad of paperwork I got with the 100e, I found the original receipt (for £400, plus £167 15s 10d purchase tax, £3 3s delivery, £1 15s for petrol, £2 10s for number plates, £6 11s 3d for road tax  , £11 16s 6d for the heater and £12 for carrying out "Novaseal".... which seems to have been a good investment!)

There's also the receipts for the hire purchase payments, and the original insurance documents... £13 10s 5d, with a £10 excess :(

Does anyone else have any interesting paperwork with their car?

Well, i know that my old car (which is now owned by OSF member: Spooner) was a company car based in Putney! I wish someone would give me a Capper as a company motor!:roll:

I have alot of paperwork with the Capri including the original sales invoice and all but one MoT certificate. The only things I didn't have were old tax disc's, until I found one in the boot. I have had everything clarified with the original owner and found out a bit more than I bargained for.... She was stolen for her Pepperpot alloys when she was 3 years old :(

The Anglia has hardly anything apart from some old tax disc's which show her original number plate. I may get in contact with the DVLA to find out the history on her. I am only the 3rd owner, and the chap I bought it off, owned it from 1986 and never drove it. I hope the original owner is still with us because there are alot of questions I want to ask

I have the original bill of sale.....the main dealer then fitted electric windows, central locking, the option 15" allys and a cobra full closure alarm...

also got old adverts when my car was still an ultra mint low miler...then everything just stops.......think she spent a long time off the road in storage changing hands.....till I saved her

Got a full history with my Anglia from about 1968 including a couple of interesting little gems, one of which is a set of directions from the AA which are just like a modern AutoRoute printout but this is from the 60's taking the car from the Isle of Wight to Cranfield Airfield, which is about 7 miles from where the car is now.

And with my van, I have a diary kept by the owner of journeys taken, miles covered, petrol used etc....

Love all this old stuff...

And with my Cossie I've got a folder so big you couldnt jump over it.

I havent got any history or paper work with the escort because the bloke who gave it to me has lost it all

It was originally owned by an old boy who was a friend of their familys and i think he passed away and then the guy got hold of it and just used it really and didnt do nothing with it.

He told me it only failed the MOT on one thing which was corroded brake pipes so he laid it up and then 10 years later i got my hands on it :D

Hopefully he will find the history and all of the paper work for it one day

Bloody Hell, that was a local car to me. The garage that was bought at still exists today & my dad has just ordered a new Focus from the same place. They were very good at helping out with the Old Skool parts as well, as they recieved all the new old stock items from the other dealers.

Also, Broadwalk is a stones throw from my house, says alot about my general location doesn't it lol :lol::lol::lol:

I`ve got the history of my capri off the DVLA , it was first registered to the chief of police in manchester then used as motorway patrol car, have also used the history to contact some of its previous owners which resulted in me getting some free spares. :D
