its my second evning with a mig i poked the sill with a screw driver, then an angle grinder

 

then got a bit carried away.....

 

i couldnt give a toss what it looks (and there wont be a carpet covering it :P ) but is it a total and utter bodge? ive given it some abuse with the chipping hammer then the claw hammer then jumped up and down on it... its solid all right

note the small section to the left of the shiney bit,,,crafted out of the foot of some scafolding, the shiny bit is galvanised steel just cut and banged to shave with the surface ground down

that your mig has run out of gas?

 

thats what i thought, also m8 what were you doing with a chipping hammer? or are you arc welding? :thumbsup:

yeah i was to tight to buy a gas mig :oops:

 

 

but then today realised gasless wire is more expensive :roll:

 

and i was using the chipping hammer to beat the living daylights out it to see if it was strong enough :lol:

welded some bits of exhaust together and patched up a cement mixer before attacking the car

 

the scrap i collected i couldnt be bothered grinding the rust off :lol:
