oldskool100e Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 These were taken about a year ago in my local scrappy... there was also a MK1 Escort in a container. A few months later there was also a MK3 Zephyr and a MK3 Cortina which looked like it had just been dragged out of a barn... Pre-facelift MK2 Granny MK5 Cortina... 1 of 3 IIRC Capris Fancy something a bit bigger? how about a D series? And this was sat in a yard where I used to rent a unit...
RFChris Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 Well, this one... Was a mint rally motor, but it got a major front-end spank so had to be re-shelled....and lets face it, if its a rally car and it has to be re-shelled...well, its buggered. As for this.... escortmad79 Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Whassat in the background? Daimler limo... They usually end up dying on a banger track too
Arched Escy Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 My first thought was Jaguar, but then Neil made me think it was an Allegro.Hubcaps are similar.
BudgieV8 Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Looks like a Zepher/Zodiac to me? Maybe wrong. (I take it you mean the black motor?) The yard looks like one I visit (C Muddle at Adversane, West Sussex) - but he cleared/crushed loads of pre-1980's stock about 2 years ago. Last time I was there before he crushed everything there was loads of Mk2 Escys, a few Mk1 Escys & Cappers etc etc - all gone now as he got a contract to process (crush) everything from Gatwick Airport & the local motorways
escortmad79 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 Yeah the black one, looks like a limo of some kind (It's got 3 windows on each side)
