Heard a funny sound coming from somewhere, and thought......Thats a new and funny sound, not heard that before, backed off and pulled into the slow lane, then all of a sudden there was a Crunching/banging kind of sound comin from the back of the car, thought FUK thats the diff.... Then it was like someone was just yanking the handbrake up and down, swerved onto the hard shoulder just before J13 on the M25 and it stopped abruptly, engine was still running ok, turned it off and looked under the back of the car and the point where prop goes into the axle was smokin like Dot Cotton and dripping oil like Darrens knob when he saw his old Mex today

MEXY867M Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 I drove all the way from norfolk for my first experience at the ace cafe and I wasnt disappointed I turned up in darren doughtys old mk1 mex,I was told there wasnt a great turn out because of pod the next day but I met afew lads and you all seemed a good bunch and a laugh hope everyone had a good day and at pod.will try and get to ace more often.
