MK5 Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I always tell potential partners that they go before the Capri goes so don't make me choose. You'll lose Always worked for me. I'm single but have a Capri parked outside yep, love me love my Cortina
Richierich Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Had the osf before her, so is it last in first out? Or if this problem arose personally i'd say osf's are part of the package, take it or leave it!
Doc Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I could always get another bird ! £20 worth of babycham and bingo . My car cost £££££££££££ nuff said.
RFChris Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Hmmmm, this is a tough question,if i were in a situation like that im affraid a piece of metal could never take priority over my wife and kids,i know kids wer'nt mentioned but the fact is if i split with the wife, yea i could still be a good dad but it aint that easy,i couldnt imagine not being able to tuck the kids in a night etc But in saying that i would have to question my wifes love for me if she expected me to give up the oldskool, she knows how much i love them My thoughts exactly. I love my little girl too much to let a car come first. And besides, hwile i admit i'd get rid of the car.....it would only be "rid of" as far as she is concerned. I could always park it somewhere else......i could have an affair with it, it'd be quite exciting really.
Daggle Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 erm i dunno as mine loves osf's i know thats why i fancy your missus that and she comes in her own osf Does she

johnny_h Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Anyone that says they would get rid of thier pride and joy after being given that kind of ultimatum is a mug and destined to live a life under the thumb. Being asked to give up something that makes you, you is not the actions of someone worth your time.

4parajon Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 I'd sell the car, no ifs and no buts. As much as my missus isnt into OSF's though, she knows I am and what my car means to me and I dont think she would ever ask me to sell it. If we were ever that unfortunate to be desperate for cash I would make the decision to sell before being asked, my family comes first before anything.

That's selling because you have to, not because you have been asked to. Most of us would do the same in those circumstances. That was not the question though.
