MK II Mark Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Has anyone had any problems with JMC? I ordered some leaf springs and rear shocks about three weeks ago, I then ordered a large gearbox tunnel a week last Saturday and nothing has arrived yet. I telephoned them about the rear suspension a week and a half ago and the fella said they were still waiting for the shockers from GAZ and as my car is an estate they are different to the standard MK 2... I know they have taken the money out of my bank account for the suspension... £240. but I haven't checked about the large tunnel yet. Should I be concerned? I'm gettin a bit annoyed
Posse Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 i know what you mean m8 the problem is i think jMC get a lot of there parts for else where so that is half the problem.Plus this bank holiday has probably not helped.
Cookie Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 I live 5 mins away from JMC and been in half a dozen times since last nov for a gearbox tunnel, never has any there I know my mate has been waiting a long time for some bits aswell I go about half hour up the motorway now straight to peter lloyd, always has everything in stock I don't think he will knock you, just very slow sort things out from what i have heard of several people

4parajon Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 I've been told by a couple of people that thats what they do, they take your money and then order the parts from their supplier.
Noodles Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 I went to order somthing on their website and the page you put your card deatials onto wasnt secure?
MK II Mark Posted May 15, 2007 Author Report Posted May 15, 2007 Right, I am getting messed around by these boys something rotten, I have still not got my leaf springs, rear shocks or gearbox tunnel. I rang them today and they said the shocks will be in this time next week and they will send them out straight away. My advice to anyone is avoid these boys like the plague and go elsewhere, I don't know whether to get my money back and order off someone else but have to wait another ouple of weeks My blood is boiling
kevmk2 Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 Id get a refund myself. Get some bits from either Peter lloyrd ralling or west wales rally spares.
