Steve Edwards Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 I've had them for a week now and only just got round to fitting them. I brought them from West Midlands Wheels, ordered them on the Friday and they came on the monday, good service! The only problem i am having is the front centre caps wont fit ? Any body out there had the same problem?
Mark2Mark Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 That looks fantastic mate nice one Don't worry about the centre caps it looks harder without them

PaulAshman Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Those are sweet, been thinking about some for my Capri. What is their website. I'd be interested to know prices.
Steve Edwards Posted May 7, 2007 Author Report Posted May 7, 2007 Cheers! They do rub a bit on the rears, i have rolled the lip but because it is so low i cant stop it, its just over 2" lowered and i am going to go back tp 1" at the rear until i can find time to do some more work on the arches.

Baz. Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Have they got PERFORMANCE SUPALITE , MADE IN AUSTRALIA stamped on them? those centercaps dont look the same as mine I think you may have copys mate the caps should say performance on them Also the caps should clip on from the front of the wheel, and not push through from the rear of the wheel
mk1escortmad Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Gonna order mine next week to replace my 6x13's
Admin Vista Posted May 7, 2007 Admin Report Posted May 7, 2007 Very nice mate, you coming up to Exeter next Sunday?
Guest MK1gaz Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Excellent choice of rims , just leave the centre caps off and then get at least 5mm machined of the back of the rear wheels so they don't rub
payne'e Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 sweet as ..... i'll be getting some in a week or 2 as soon as i get my wings fitted.they are only 20 mins drive from me what size tyres did you go for?
James HPE Motorsport Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 they look the doodars mate imo chop the axle down 3/4" either side and use cortina halfshafts! Even taking 5mm off the back face of the wheel wont give you the clearance you'll need
mk1mexico Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Looks good mate my centre caps dont fit front or back
