is that what vosa told u or the insurance company? i had a sprinter van written of 2/3 yrs ago. the insurance company told me the same and took my logbook. when i went into vosa to sort out having the check done on the paperwork it gives u a number to ring. rang them up gave them the reg answer was no all clear just send off for lost logbook. now i could have got it for free if i had signed the cat for insurance company taking it but thought if i send them £19 they wont look at the history. 2weeks later newlog book 8)
