just before Ian got it he had to have a new bottom end too :?

What happened to the old one?? Perhaps it has been running lean for a while and thats what killed that one.

Hope you get it sorted without too much drama mate

Thanks for your kind words people,

Mark, thanks for the pm, and i hear what your saying mate, apparently the car had an L7 ECU, which i think the guy said were quite difficult to get hold of :?

And yes deffo a fuelling problem, the problem is there is nt any at the top end

At the end of the day, i do trust the garage that have got the car, they are very friendly and helpful.

I will try and get the guy on here to explain what exactly is going on.

Unfortunatly mate, i think it is gonna cost a bit, they are saying i need to change the management system, as the one thats in there, is no good and restricting it, they are talking about uprating to a Motech system, Also found out today that fuel pump is the wrong type, its basically not upto the job :?

I know you say you trust the garage the car is at but I think your wallet would benefit greatly from speaking to someone like Stu at Motorsport Developments up in Blackpool about cossie engines and management, either standard or after market.

OR

Give Steve Scott a ring at A1 Rally Sport as he may very well have everything you need on the shelf, he doesnt charge the earth, and knows what he's at with Cossie motors, whatever they are in.
