Why was CBC's mk2 so bad?? How much power is the duratec (?) supposed to be doing?

The power was only 230 bhp for an £11000 out the box engine from cosworth. . . .

I thought the car was stunning Scooby rear end engine well back must of cost a fortune inside was just as good as the outside ect...

Scholar sell a 270 bhp for 8k. . . Looking at it looked like the manifold was`nt long enough? thats just in my opinion

Deadly pics m8!Looks like a few RS200s turned up!

damn plastic things, some of the owners werent even giving them full beans, and one bloke cooked his original brake pads ! he was really really upset  )

and there was a nasty escort (plastic) cossie out there

i think my favourite cars of the day were

cossie mk1 tina (it was rapidooooooooooo !)

Thats who i was with Lloyd is the owner and he going to come to brighton in it...

Went out with him it,And it is Awesome....

Independent rear end really pushes the front on a bit, causing a bit of understeer

But Lloyd can handle it and it handle like its on rails,

It a N/A cossie but is has so much torque and pulls like a train

Cossie Matts car was flying and he was getting some good times near the end. . .

Followed Fiesta steves round and i was impressed how well that went

There was loads of pukka cars there just a shame we had to come home!!!

Hi,

That was my first track day, and damn it was fun. Even though I spun off the track twice and got overtaken by everyone :). Some amazing cars there, put mine to shame.

I was in the 2.0 Laser which was probably the slowest car there as its pretty standard. Kept overheatting so think I'll be getting a bigger rad and leccy fan for next time. :)

My mate was there taking pics and he got some really good ones. I've uploaded them to my server but can't post the URL as I'm a new member. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll send the URL.

Cheers

-Chris

How about coming up north somewhere?

Its fairly difficult for most of us northerners to drive several hours to do a track day. If you came up Donnington, Anglsey or Knockhill, a fair few of us could make it.

A whole day may be less affordable for some people.

Look forward to seeing some more pics, hopefully he got one of me

Watch this space my good man... All i've got to do is find an engine that lasts more than 3 laps
