antz Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 right i have a bit of a story here: when i bought the wheels for my volvo last week i had to pick them up from a farm 5 miles away. when collecting them i spotted a mk1 fezza in his field. its a 1.1 popular in terracotta of all colours . been sat there for a few months now as the guy used to use it for bombing around the field. mechanically he says it is fine and when chgecking it over it LOOKS pretty solid with only the OSR wheel arch getting very crusty and a few dents in the front panel and bonnet. the car is complete and everything is there! i was talking with him and said it was worth about £50-60 in its current state and he was suprised it was worth that much! he was gonna call a scrapman to take it away in a couple of months. what i wanna know is...would it be worth going back and having a second look and making an offer? and how much!? i cant stand thinking about it sat there

antz Posted May 28, 2007 Author Report Posted May 28, 2007 thats the thing! if its good then i can sell it on as a whole car. if its a rotter i can just break it. it can stay at my grandads farm for a while i work out what to dow ith it. all i need now is a trailer and some time to go see him! but id rather secure a trailer first so i wont be stuck!
