Admin Vista Posted May 30, 2007 Admin Report Posted May 30, 2007 Is it new? It may be an error on the suppliers part, I've never bought any piece of hardware that didn't come with the means to plug it in. Check the paperwork that comes with it and see if it should have been included.

Pye Man Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Aye my lass bought an HP printer and had to buy a USB seperatly. The women at the counter also advised on some ink catridges. Which we bought. Gets it home it already got ink. That women was a good sales women!!

Wessie Posted May 30, 2007 Author Report Posted May 30, 2007 ok the lead i got doesnty reach from the pooter to the printer, i found a USB hub laying about so i used it as a sort of 'extension' now the printer wont print

Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Go into Printers & Faxes in Control Pannel mate, and make sure your new printer is set as the Default Printer. Right click on the Printer Icon, and click Properties. In here you will see a button saying Print Test Page. Do this first and see what happens

flyingbanana Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 i assume the drivers for the printer are installed?.......also hp normally need primming to get them to work when you put new ink in....one mine i just hold a button for 10 secs and then it starts a test sheet
