Admin Vista Posted June 3, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 3, 2007 Anyone else heading up from the Westcountry wanting to join me Deltamal and Cmpod for a convoy up there on Saturday?
sab6024 Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 What time you lot planning on leaving? We're all going up but haven't decided on a time yet. It'll be discussed at the meeting tomorrow night. Could be a good idea though. Be warned though, my Capri has a habit of playing up on these long runs (gotta a bad attitude to shows it has) And one other member has a habit of blowing motors.......naming no names but they know who they are
capriaddict Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 What time? I might have to work in the morning in which case i'll be going up in the afternoon.

RFChris Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 From what Vista was saying to me earlier he will be leaving his end at about 9-9.30. The next meeting point will be Gordano services on the M5 which could be good for any of the Bristol/South Wales guys. This would be at about 11-11.30 depending on traffic. Chris
Admin Vista Posted June 3, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted June 3, 2007 Though if the bulk of people need a slightly later start, this could probably be tailored to suit? Our objective was to get there semi early to bag a decent pitch and then watch a few cars on the strip in the afternoon what sorts of times do others have in mind?
Super Sh1te Box Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 May be up for that... Although car is on 105speed stand not oldskoolford Not sure of my plans yet but will c what times and if I can make it early

sab6024 Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 From what Vista was saying to me earlier he will be leaving his end at about 9-9.30. The next meeting point will be Gordano services on the M5 which could be good for any of the Bristol/South Wales guys. This would be at about 11-11.30 depending on traffic. We'll probably be leaving really early if previous years are anything to go by. Traffic at A30 bottleneck is a killer for the cars so we try to avoid it.
Admin Vista Posted June 5, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted June 5, 2007 Ok Deltamal and I shall be leaving plymouth at just after 9 am on Saturday. Anyone else want to pick up en route?

sab6024 Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 What time do you reckon you'll get to Exeter Services? Me and GARY STEVENS are leaving a bit later than the rest of the club so we could meet you at the Services and go up with you. We're leaving early to steer clear of Royal Cornwall Show traffic and Holiday makers blocking up the A30
