parking permit scheme soo pissed off.......

...with Portsmouth City Council.

 

Who in their infinite wisdom have decided to introduce the above in my street.

Firstly, they will allow a maximum of 2 permits per house costing a total of £25. Thats no fooking good cos I have four cars. I already pay £45 per month to keep one car safely garaged..

Secondly, when they sent 'consultation' documents I made a few choice suggestions - which they've obviously taken no notice of.

 

Which leaves me with 3 options.

1. Rent 2 garages instead of one. Cant afford that.

2. Park one car in a random street the other side of town - too sodding inconvenient

3. sell one of the cars - why the fook should I have to sell because of some faceless twat?

 

I aint going to take this - they will be receiving a strong letter of complaint, and also a Freedom of Information request demanding all documents relating to this decision to see if my suggestions were listened to - and if not theres going to be fooking hell to pay

 

If the worst comes to teh worst I'll rent another garage. I wont be able to afford it so I'll just have to pay them £50 per month less Council Tax

we pay £10 per year per car for a parking permit to park outside our flat. shame there's never any empty parking spaces...

thats fooked up mate! god you have to pay to park anywhere in portsmouth now! thats one of the bad things about pompy hardly any free parking, pisses me off when you gota pay 1.50 for an hours parking when your guna me 5mins!

 

the poxy uni charge us for permits to use the unis carparks. over 50 quid for a semester! im a bloody student, how am i guna afford that?! just as well they dont check to see if the one you have is real or not, two years free parking due to photoshop but keep it quiet yeh

we actually want parking permits in our road! when we moved in a few years back we had no problem but the care home on the corner of our road doesnt let their staff park outside their property and tells them to park in my road leaving no spaces for residents there is no parking for the staff at the police station so they tend to park outside my house as well, at least with permits all these non residents will be forced to park elsewhere and we can get spaces back

The ironic thing is that non residents can use residents bays for up to two hours, so it won't be any different to how it is now, except that we now have to pay and are limited to 2 cars.
