4parajon Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Up lately, got my Turbo Tail powder coated and put on, and also fitted some new headlights from a 5 series BMW. I also took off the front and rear bumpers, had them shot blast and then powder coated and put back on with new St St coachbolts and nuts. I was a bit gutted the car could'nt make it to the CF show, but it'll be sorted soon. Big thanks to Caprifan for sorting the lights out for me

caprixpack Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 hi mate how did you go about fitting the bmw lights
4parajon Posted June 14, 2007 Author Report Posted June 14, 2007 hi mate how did you go about fitting the bmw lights I did'nt to be honest mate, Ive got my very own pet luminaire expert, so he tells me anyway I dont think there's much too it to be honest, the actual light is the same size as the Capri one and they use the same bulb, they just reflect the light better. As to fitting them they fit in the same cups as the Capri ones but you have to elongate a couple of holes to get them in snug and secure. PM Caprifan for more info mate

4parajon Posted July 25, 2007 Author Report Posted July 25, 2007 This is your Cosworth lump? Hadn't you only just had that rebuilt? Yeah it is, it was rebuilt in November last year. If it is the oil pump (and I dont know yet) then there's not a lot you can do is there
