Well I have my new car and am well chuffed. A tidy 1980 Mk2 estate in Nordic Blue.

Now the big question, do I:

1. Leave it standard

or

2. Lower it by a couple of inches and sit it on some fat minilites or banded steels.

What do you all reckon. Here are some pics of it.

Leave it standard more people come up to me and say its so nice to see one that has'nt been mucked about with, and in my opinion a standard car is rarer than a modified one nowadays!

Thanks guys.

John - yes the capper went.

MKII MARK - what wheels are on that estate and what amount of lowering did you go? (inches).

7 inch superlites and it was lowered an inch at the back and two at the front. I have been toying with some banded steels lately though, like the wheels on your car but an inch and a half wider :ykt:

I better get it back on the road first

looks tidy!

id drop it on banded steels! i know original cars are harder to come by than modified ones but in the end its your car and u do what YOU ant. plus if you wanna mod it then you can always keep the original bits to convert it back!
