It must be down to the pace of living and the weather (maybe not lately). Dont get me wrong, all regions that are dedicated to the OSF how ever this is just a observation i have come across. DO I NEED TO GET OUT MORE??? (WE ALL AS ONE AT THE END OF THE DAY)

sab6024 Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 I think it boils down to the fact we don't earn anything down here so we have to look after what we got and that includes the cars The amount of OSFs that look like they've been owned by the same person since new is amazing This can only be a good thing for the likes of us lot who go out and buy them all up

I love the SW, it is sch a different pace of life. i now live in Plymouth. I use to live in Helston a long time ago, the summers, Newquay and generally messing about and taking my time. LOVE IT!!!!

Drove past a garage the other day & had to reverse back to double check, there was a Mk1 XR2 inside having work done on it. There are loads of Mk1 Fiestas around at the moment (Spotted 2 today) Saw a Mk2 Granada in Paignton today Found a few others dotted around too Not many Mk1/2 Escorts though

I know my sister passes loads on her rounds coz she keeps telling me. I think she makes a point of finding out where they come from too

One mineral blue 2.8 went through Hayle at about 0945hrs today and then saw another one - a black 2.8 as I was coming from St Ives. and before you ask, I didn't meet any men with 7 wives. There do seem to be a good few down here and as sab says, they look like they've been 1 owner from new. There's a little old lady who lives in Lelant who has a yellow Mk 2 Escort 1300 Super Sport or something that's in great nick - and she uses it prety much every day!
