Rover SD1, thought it was a merlin spitfire engine?

this is the same block, just minus the supercharger, he has however junked the carbs and made his own injection system

why?

carbs = cool

supercharger = supercool

changing a 27 litre v12 to efi for economy = admitting your gay.

only way i can see would be if the carbs would overfuel without the charger but surely that could be sorted, and why the feck does it not have a charger anymore?

its actually out a tank, they didnt have the charger

i've got a video of him firing this up in the garage - it was mental - blowing this off shelfs and firing huge flames out the head. i'd love to hear/see this running.

bet its nice and toasty in the cabin.

and i dont think he would have chose injection to save fuel - i would be because he could then map/setup the engine alot easier and try to make it as drivable as a tank engine can be
