Richierich Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Been on here a while so thought I should probably put up some pics of the escort and where its been going! 1300E with authentic 43'000 miles (now 62'000 ish) running the original 1300gt engine with a K&N. Lowered 1" all round, bare metal resprayed. Recaro interior and mountney 3 spoke steering wheel. Its used everyday and not garaged so is a bit rough around the edges, but hey, thats what they're for! Thats pretty much it really, hope u like!

Richierich Posted July 21, 2007 Author Report Posted July 21, 2007 Cheers people, yeah the 7x13's were put on recently, makes it handle so much sharper with 175/50's than the 185/70's that were on the laser alloys! Got some mk1 capri struts going on the front to bring it down a bit, just got to investigate a mysterious problem with the steering rack first!
whitey Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 beast of a car , come on the 1300e, the rims are looking nice.
mr squidian Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 FOOK i love them wheels HOT think i wee'd
Richierich Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 Well thought i'd better put an update in here as things have been moving a bit slowly with the escort lately, so heres a couple photos of whats happening... Up on the axle stands after stripping off the rack, struts, tca's and anti roll bar . Given it a good clean underneath followed by a healthy coating of waxoil. Now all that needs doing is a bit of a freshen up of the front end paintwork, then the re-fit which includes polybushes, new 2.4 quick rack with rs2000 track rod ends, 3 litre capri struts (as pictured) with new m16 calipers. Should be back on the road by the next week or so!
