DAZZA Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 Gagging to try the bosses new Mk1- Spare mex shell, used the wheels for Oldschoolgeezers 100E. Posse using not 7"s for a change, (saved buying a rally rep) so to scale this mk2 tina gave its minilite rims. However, tyre profile to high Quick rumage through the the display cabinet, found this old 1/64 rod. Front tyres perfect fit and brings profile down. Luckily found another Rod with the same tyre combination. Quick mock up... Temporary silver Gel Pen to mark up signage, will wipe off and paint later

mk1super Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 what kind of attachments came with the dremmel mate? Polishing bobs, abrasive sanding bands, grinding stones, wire brush, bristle brush, cutting disk, drill bits. oh and flexi drive. Bate its made my hacksaw redundant already! Its saved me a fair bit of time, and hassle. I'll post a pic asap of the results ive had with it.
DAZZA Posted August 16, 2007 Author Report Posted August 16, 2007 soon, need a magnifying glass to re-do that signwriting on neatly
DAZZA Posted August 23, 2007 Author Report Posted August 23, 2007 Part - 2 Heres a little lowering tip, vanguards cars usually have sprung axles, lift the spring shafts and remove the axle. Glue plastic strips (1mm thick - 1" scale) where the axle sits, then replace axle and spring clamps. No more than 2mm on the back or the leaf springs touch the floor (you could grind slightly). Just because you cant see it, no reason to ignore detail.... Bumpers were a little to shiney, humbrol chrome dulls them a tad. Dulled on the left On goes the flag, used a homemade striping brush as per Kustom car Pinstripe crowd, the end bristled are cut at an angle which gives grat detail and control Wish I hadnt given Posse the model van so early, would have looked tugging this.... NEXT.......... Interior (Bucket, scratch built cage) Signwriting, Lights & Number plates Chrome window and light surrounds
Posse Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 Thats the tits dazza if you need any more pics just let me no m8

Was going to Hot Rod and trailer arch this, but may wait to see how Morley's Busa turns out.... Bought this one for Posse's Models wheels, found these touring car ones & may do "Puddy's" motor. Had this one in progress for about 6 years, kind of Pro-Rat going on. Cant decide what to do next..... Next - Bolt Posse's Mk1 together.
