a 2.1 pinto, over a normal 2.0? If both engines had exactly the same spec, would there be much difference? i.e, is it worth doing?

I think its the torque that makes it more worthwhile mate. Classic ford did a feature of it a long while back and i think you get around 10-15lb feet more torque. Could be way, way wrong mate but its something like that.

i'd rather save myself the money on boring/pistons if it isnt gunna be loads of BHP.
