lotusless Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 yes 1st sunday of the month. lets bring back the old days, i got there at 5pm + there were plenty of motors about, but they do drift off at about 6!! but we could get there at 4.30 ish + stay till whenever. i dont know why the yank motors go at 6 ish it's very strange i will post up a reminder nearer the time
JAY PS Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 From experience this meet was almost stopped by the police when a saxo had a head on collision outside the venue a year ago The site doesnt welcome the cruise in fact the car park is now closed to half the size by about 5.30 to ward off the saxo/corsa boys who ruined this meet for the old skool cars The burger king has a 50s dj in the afternoon some months and great 50s and 60s amercian cars ,but as the winter approaches it really thins out ,where the mainstream cars stay in the warm i suppose . Worth a look and expect to get there for 3pm but dont stay past 5-6pm because all the saxo feternity will arrive and you will usually hear them coming like wasps!!!! Oh yeah expect police presence ,they do have purges on legal stuff such as tints and mods and often check the insurance database to check out what you have declared!
