any body remember it? was featured in either c/c or streetmachine about 18yrs ago, i think they done a capri special? bit hazy on the memory.

it was at about the same time as andy saunders built the reliant powered speedboat!

mk3, roofchop & body kit i seem to remember. :thumbsup:

Dont know about the capri bit m8, but the only Lemon Squash i know of is a mk2 consul the build of which started back in the 70s by Mark Spooner, I got hold of it as a rotten shell in 89 and rebuilt it to as it was in custom car in 97 ..............

Henry Hirise was always my fave- Issue 1 Street Machine. Just secured a second copy on ebay just incase the first ever got damaged!

think lemon squash was a Mk1 capri with roof chop, cologne kit and 302, V8 in it. Appliane wheels to i reckon 8)

 

i know the car you mean ,ive got photoed at Chessington Zoo in 85

God knows what that Capri was called ,but i cant work out why only 2 years after that picture was taken it was no more ,apart from an accident or could be in storage somewhere

WOW that was back in the day !!! these were taken befor Mark fitted the canted lights & PA Cresta wheel arch's, the lights changed the front end a lot, it was then that the flames were done

Do you have any more pics ???? how come you have them ???

nice one mate, i though i was going mad in me old age there for a bit :lol: knew i'd seen it,

i think the mag it was featured in Custom Car, Rod and Custom or Street Machine etc probably just called the feature Lemon Squash.

No, thats the other one. Mine was first. One easy to see diference is the back door. My van was originally a Escort estate with a factory horizontal split back door. The original top hinges are there and the top and window is curved. The other van has straight edges and has a side opening door. I posted this awhile ago on Retro Rides and a previous owner of the other van replied.
