a blue arse fly today trying to make my Peter Lloyd exhaust fit properly for racing tomoz when I popped into a local kwik fit to see if I could buy a couple of exhaust clamps. The kwik fit fitters in there were like "was this car in Brighton a few months back?" I said maybe. They said " yeah we saw it and a load more in the marina with a black one in the middle with oldskoolford up the side". "I used up the whole of my camera memory that day"!

 

I explained the coo and they gave me a load of clamps and rubber hangers for nothing and said they will be at the next one. OSF's and the scene are great for freebies!

nice one jonnny I used to know a guy who was a manager at Quick fit

you be surprised how many hot rods we built there

 

still got a box of bolts ,clamps etc 10 years later

So how did the situation with PL resolve itself in the end? dod you get the correct back box out of them?
