X-pack-Glyn Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Ive had em taking pellets from right under the rod tip but as soon as i drop in the hook bait they spook and piss off.... maybe a new aproach is needed, what about a depth charge and just net all the fish when they float to the top?

Supercharged Nat Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 ok try this: landing net in the water, pellets in the net, when they feed from it, rip it outa the water, none of that rod the round ones! duno mate, i havent fished in years, maybe your line or hooks send too much vibration into the water or something??

kirk10 Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 you tryed casting way past them then realing the bate into the swim slowly
X-pack-Glyn Posted October 9, 2007 Author Report Posted October 9, 2007 you tryed casting way past them then realing the bate into the swim slowly its directly under a tree mate, its literally drop it from the rod tip stuff... if i get into a good 20 under there it will be fun, hook and hold stuff i recon.. did the same tonight but as the water was colder they were down lower, poss 2-3 ft instead of 1 ft, theres a little shelf just off the bank im sticking my freebies and hook baits on, theyre allways interested though, the trout pellets atract em for miles. i think i just need to hide better.
