jimbo Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 and I've completely let it slip. MOT runs out on Saturday. Could of sworn it ran for another couple of weeks...... One wheel bearing needs replacing. I think my emissions are all over the place, and I think one of my front shocks is leaking. Don't suppose anyone out there knows of a syympathetic VOSA chap in the NW Herts area? Also what consitutes a failed shock? I might be able to get the bearing sorted and the emissions I can leave to the tester. But if I can get away with shock that'd be a bonus Or is anyone at a loose end on Saturday

bigglesmk2 Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Worked on the front forks of my yam FZ 400.
oliwally Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 as long as the car doesnt bounce uncontrolably and theres not puddles of oil everywhere then you should be ok. I wouldnt fail a car if theres a small amount of oil around the seal.
GT_Jim Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 if they cant see it who is to say it exists
oliwally Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 MoT's are only valid at time of test,The second you drive off its worthless. your stop light bulbs could blow and render your car illegal and defective.
