coming down a certain 3 laned private road last night and my sat nav recoreded 118 mph bloody pleased with that as my sat nav is accurate to 10 ft that is a good indicator 3.9 diff as well i revved it to 5500 but can rev to 6500 in 5th poor thing it does get a hard life

topped 130 on the clock in my capper but dont know what the real figure qould be. followed a harrier (previously owned by a member of this sight) at 115 as recorded on my mondeo clock, its an electric sense type so prob quite accurate

 

i feel a track and a speed trap coming on.....

The capper hit 140 before the rolling road with some more to go. Not tried top end recently but it gets to 130 in a flash

This was downhill but the car had done 25000 miles only and had been run by a sweet old lady

Got an indicated 130mph out of my 2.1 capri but dont know what it really was, the rear offside arch broke off and twatted up on the side window!! had to go onto the hardshoulder (of the private airfield) and bolt it back on before slapping duck tape all over it!! got 90mph out of the starlet but it really didnt like it, my mate overtook me in his 200sx and buggered off only to settle to normal pace so i spent the next 5 minutes with my foot to the floor and shot past him unexpectedly, he said he'd never heard such mechanical noise in all his life!!

Best top speed i ever had was in my Twin turbo Supra,very early one sunday morning on my way to TOTB- i saw 178mph backed up by my Snooper S6, Very fast and very stupid and sold it on 2 weekes after doing that.
