Mick The Mig Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Ultimate way to clean carb's is to use an ultrasound tank. This uses a non-solvent solution and high frequency vibration to shake the crap loose. Alternatively a toothbrush and petrol is the low cost answer. taking the usual precautions with the petrol.

ZetecVan 2.0 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Don't people put webers in the dishwasher to clean them? Is that a bad idea?
davreeve Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Its dangerous to clean carbs in the dishwasher.I tried it and got a nasty pain in my head.Something to do with wife armed with a saucepan Carb body came out ok though.
