sambo Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Hi all, can anyone recommend a good brake kit for 13" wheels? Something that wont break the bank too! Whats the largest disc diameter that will fit and is there a complete kit? Cheers.
toad650 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Try caprisport.com they do a good kit for 13's that you can then upgrade if you getbigger wheels later on.
Guest MK1gaz Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 You can get a 4 pot kit with 280 mm discs or a 6 pot hi-spec kit with 275mm discs all under 13 inch rims www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk

Guest MK1gaz Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Cheers guys How much would that little lot cost then Gaz?? Hi-specs prices are very good compared to the rest of the competition . Prices depend on weither you have alloy bells , alloy hubs , braided hoses etc etc . You can get 4 pot willwood kits with smaller discs from rally design as well .
raymondmarble Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Why would you want to know this Mr B?
escort21 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Caprisport don't do the brake kit for 13" wheels anymore
4parajon Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 The Caprisport kit costs about £300 and that includes everything you need. You could buy the parts individually and make the mounting brackets yourself for a lot cheaper if you are that way inclined. I waited about 8 weeks for my kit though. Think Gaz waited about the same for his Hi - Spec ones, think the only one's that are available "for immediate delivery" are the Willwood ones from RD.......you pays your money and you takes your choice
sambo Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 Why would you want to know this Mr B? just out of interest Mr. Low, just out of interest......
X FLOW EDDY Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Princess 4 pots !!! Payed £45 for mine.
