where in the southeast you can buy 1600 crossflow exhaust manifold gaskets over the counter? Burton power stocks them but they are a trek from me. I need a set and i need them this weekend. chee RS

The Motorist Shop in Hoo, its in the village centre opposite the Five Bells, between Spar and the fish & chip shop. £2.50? bus ride away on the 191 from Chatham bus station if your stuck for transport, and Barbara just found me some bearings for the Anglia. they do same day orders and phone round if not.

Last time i ordered a rocker cover gasket for my 1600 xflow they sent a CVH one twice. I ordered one for a mk1 xr2 in the end job sorted

Mate, I have had some headaches getting some bits for the Anglia around here. There are a few motor factors that have survived since the Old Skool, but their stocks are getting low/extinct!!!

 

I managed to find an exhaust manifold gasket, and also bought up the last 9 headlight bulbs, but I still can't find a rocker cover gasket.

 

Does anyone know if my suspision is correct??? Will a Kent x-flow rocker cover gasket fit a Kent pre x-flow?????

 

But I must say a big thank you to my 3 local motor factors that have bent over backwards to help me so far

try a xr2 listing mate. I got a top end gaskit set for my mrs fiesta (with a 1300 xflow) from ajay about 3 months ago. in most of these places u need to find somebody who knows their onions, not just the office numpty boy/girl who cant be @rsed with it all when the exact car model isnt listed. Ajay's in hailsham are $hit hot, but not much help to u up there
