I do feel for all the folk who rely on their wagons for a living, If all this was'nt happening for real then no-one would belive it

 

 

I just can't believe that anyone in their right mind could even think of charging the sort of prices they want to drive into london

on top of the congestion charge, the crazy amount of tax on your fuel to get there, the insurance premium tax they slied in, and the old skool road tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

5 different taxes to drive into London!!!! I'm sure there will be a lot of people like myself who will just say no thanks and not do any business there, especially come 2010, which sounds a long time away but is only 2 years now, and the 3.5 tonners can't come in, think how many trades that affects at transit van size level

 

Makes you wonder if the major commercial vehicle seller or the people who do the £2k conversions have made a substancial 'DONATION ' to the government don't it

I just checked the NSTT, and it isn't affected..... YET. What more can I say??? Livingstone is a dictating, two faced, lying tinker lol! We seriously need to stand up for ourselves and bring down this hypocritical (sp), lying, lazy arsed government... oh don't forget old Ferret face either. Someone should assasinate that prick!

After myself and others on the t4 forum chased tfl ,it would appear my 03 T4 Transporter is euro 3 compliant and theve just amended the website ,but all vans over 2002 will most likely not be because this wasnt built in to the vans at the time

My local Recovery company have just replaced most of their fleet with 1-2 year old vehicles and ive noticed around our area there is a lot of newish trucks out there.

What about buses ? im sure it applies to them to and as for coaches ,my local company runs vehicles as old as 20 years plus to do school pickups ,im sure these guys will have to invest huge sums of money or call it a day !

buses come in next year. oh how f###ing surpriseing that the goverment who sponser the buses is giving them an extra 6months but this goes back to them wanting cars and all comercals to be renewd every 2/3 yrs tho u can take a 65 transit and put a 2007/8 engine in it get it down vosa i think who will check it then give u free drive into london

I live out in the sticks so won't gat a chance to vote. But if he was to firm this up as a definite policy in the run up to the election, I'd be voting for him.
