Serious beer question....

....does bottled/canned beer taste better when drunk from the vassal it came in? I just drank a bottle of beer from a glass and it tasted naff.....

Have to agree, tastes much better coming from the bottle

would have thaught if its in a glass or whatever you can get the taste of whatever you washed it in, whereas in a bottle/can you dont. Oh yeah and bottled will taste better as you get less taste transfer from teh container to the drink

From the can. Always find "le grande biere" cans taste better as you get more. (better go get another one).

The only difference I ever notice is when someone else is buying the round, then it always tastes better regardless of whether it comes in a bottle, glass, can, hell I'll drink it from a vase if I have too, just take out the daffodils first eh?

Never drink from a bottle, I never trust where it's been kept and one thing for sure is that the bottle is never washed before consumption.

I suppose fizzy lager must taste good from the bottle but I only ever drink beer from the glass.

if u buy bottles from say asda/tescos,no prob drink from the bottle,buy a bottle in a pub,any bottle put it in a glass. iv'e seen what happens to some of the bottled drinks in storeage yards.

 

my stella tastes better from the tin...(but mine are 85 pints large,served in pubs cant beat it

From the bottle EVERYTIME!!! i only buy bottled beer and will only drink canned at a last resort, even then it his to be put in to a glass and left for an hour or so, BEER FROM TINS TASTES RANK!!!

 

And those of you from OSF that bring cans to my house suffer in your cheapsate ways and be made to drink the Tin!!!

But the one thing I have noticed....................R Whites Lemonade always tasted better from a glass bottle, rather than the plastic bottles nowadays. Plus you could get 10p back for the empty at the offie
