Hello all!

 

Just checked my profile to see when I joined and thought it about time I posted something....!!

 

Love the site, loads of great info and fantastic motors on display.

 

I've got a '74 mk1 1300 XL, she was my first car and i've owned her ever since. I've always loved the mk1 and it never mattered to me that she was a "more door", i reckon they're all cool as hell!

The cars sits 2" lower all round and has the mini light reps, the engine is standard but I'll be adding a 2" single box ashley exhaust over the winter. Incidentally can anyone tell me what the difference/benefit there is between a 4-2-1 and a 4-1 manifold is, and which would be best for the system I want.

4-2-1 best for drivability on most engines.

 

Possible more top end power with a 4-1 but not always!

 

I would - and have myself a 4-2-1. :thumbsup:
