Great pic's

Were they not heavier that flat fronts and so not so readily use in competion??

Sorry no expert  Prepared to be shouted down

They probably used flat fronts more cos they are cheaper to repair and easier to put arches on

True! Weight too though I recon! Imagine how fast you could be......

And go to bed!!

You should of been in bed yourself young man

Nosecone is not that heavy really, and its slightly more aerodynamic

Would like to flat front mine but i would have to re-design my rad and intercooler set up,due to the intercooler sitting in the front panel, then you have the problem of nowhere to put the oil cooler :?

The flat front was for rally cars, droop snoot for track. The droop snoot was designed to be aerodynamic at speeds whereas the flat fronts dont reach such high speeds. Its all to do with homologation and stuff.

:? the droop snoot mk2 was homologated,in its time there was loads of gp1/2 mk2 rs2000's rallying but when they were crashed peopled went flat front as it was lighter, helped with cooling and was a progession for when they added arches
