bigglesmk2 Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 ..My 2year old daughter (Chloe) got rushed into hospital this morn with breathing difficulty's while i was at work.I got the call off the Mrs to say Chloe was being given adrenalin to keep her aways open and obviously being a child she's very upset and confused, needless to say,so was i Anyway i did the obvious, abandoned my truck at the depot and sped off in my mk2.Going up the dual carrigeway i could see a riot van in front doing about 60,any other day i would probably of stayed behind it but was kinda in a hurry thought fook it a riot van wont pull me especially if i stick at 70 goin past it.WRONG He recons i was doin 80 past him ,he said its coz they not the original wheels.Im running 13's revos 185 60 tyers but the car would've had 13's steels originally right? didnt think the tyre profile would throw the speedo out by that much?.Also my drivin licence has still got my mums address on even tho i not lived there for six years . The copper said "your numplate check came thru ok your tax dont run out till tomorrow, sort your licence out and think about your speed,oh and nice car". no ticket or producer, not all coppers are bad eh Got to the hospital spent about ten hours by Chloe's bed side while the Mrs went home for abit. They keeping Chloe in over night for observation but she ok now tho . My mrs came back to the hospital and is staying with Chloe overnight,i've just got home to look after my son.All being well i'll pick em up in the morn then catch up on some sleep coz im not gonna get any tonite.
MK II Mark Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I'm glad to hear the little lady is alright bud
Admin Vista Posted December 1, 2007 Admin Report Posted December 1, 2007 Glad to hear she's ok, somehow it always seems so much worse when it's a child that's ill. Oh and 185/60's will knock your speedo out on 13" rims as the standard size for 13" rims is 175/70. 185/60's will give you a smaller radius and circumference.
Mick The Mig Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 Glad to hear Chloe now OK. You will always worry about you kids even when their as old as my two (nettles & noddles)
