countrybumpkin Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 dose anyone know any company that supplys twin cowl dash tops for a mk1 escort, i've seen the ones yukspeed do but i dont relly like them as the clock pods are molded in to the dashtop, has anyone used one of these and removed the pod? if so how easy is it and dose it still look neet?
countrybumpkin Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 thanks but again these have the clock pods molded in to them but the do have lhd dsh top so i could make my own
tim Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 what you mean by mould in?part from being grp they look just like the real 1s,which were a lhd and rhd dash joined togther
hotrodholty Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 i bought one from tatton park show last year for £50 however its rough and does need some work. as for cutting it to just the pad as opposed basically a full mould of the dash i dont think it would be a problem, but obviousle you are going to hav to fill, sand and paint the edges where you've cut. which i think seems like a lot of fooking round on a brand new dash top. if you can wait like i did for a second hand one then if you fook it up cutting it, its not a costly
sambo Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 Good company that! I love the works dashes.
bomber1 Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 this any good? http://www.fibresports.co.uk/products/F ... th/FS10104
countrybumpkin Posted December 3, 2007 Author Report Posted December 3, 2007 no sorry, is there no company that just produces a dash top with nothing else on it?
