doppelganger Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 Hi All, Ive just finished spraying my Escort and laying on the graphics. Ive scoured the internet (Google image database) and can't find any other Escorts that match my colour scheme. Doesnt sound like an abnormal choice for colours so dont know why there arent any. Its White with blue Mexico stripes as you can see in my Avatar. Anyone know why there arent any others or where they are all hiding if there are? Rob
johnny_h Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 The main reason is Ford never used that color scheme. Generally when people build mex replica's they use a color scheme that looks original. There are loads of MK1's with different ideas that work though. Twink's old lotus cortina coloured escort, posse's old mex with bright lime green stripes and lee redgraves orange MK1 with matt black stripes. The list goes on.
hotrodholty Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 iv seen rs2000' but i dont recall seeing a mex in that colour. looks though
